Member of the month – Nairn Citizens Advice Bureau

Nairn Citizens Advice Bureau (Nairn CAB) has been working hard in the background, so it’s time to shine a light on everything they’ve done for our wee town as Member of the Month for March 2021.

Last year, Nairn CAB raised over £1.8 million in revenue for the local community! Those figures are comparable to many large, nationwide corporations, yet Nairn CAB achieved this all from their humble office on the High Street.

…and the lockdown hasn’t put a halt to their success. They have now adapted their services to fit working from home, and continue to make significant financial gains for their clients.

With the ongoing pandemic and austerity, it is important that people know Nairn CAB are still open to reach out to, whether it’s about debt, benefits, employment, consumer issues, or anything else you feel you need some personalised, specialist advice on.

Nairn CAB have recently launched a survey so that they can get a better understanding of how much people know about their services, and plan ways in which to increase awareness of their ever-important activity in Nairn.
